R5Valkyrie is a community-driven project focused on delivering a faster, more flexible, and more open experience for modders, server owners, and players. We started as a branch from R5Reloaded with a clear goal: do things the way we feel they need to be done. prioritizing freedom, speed, and collaboration.
Why we branched
We have a lot of respect for the work that came before us. R5Valkyrie exists because we wanted to:
- Enable more freedom with mods: Fewer restrictions, clearer APIs, and a culture that encourages experimentation and creativity.
- Give servers more control: More knobs to turn, more scripting options, and fewer constraints on how you run your community.
- Move faster: Shorter release cycles, more frequent feature drops, and a cadence that keeps up with what the community is building.
What R5Valkyrie is
- A platform for modding: A mod-friendly foundation with stable hooks, utilities, and documentation to create and share content.
- A server-first toolkit: Features designed for server owners. configuration, governance, visibility, and performance.
- A living project: We iterate quickly, take feedback seriously, and ship improvements often.
